A Sleepless Night Taught Me Something Important!
One night, I could not sleep.
Too many thoughts were running in my mind.
I felt like I was not doing enough.
Negative thoughts were making me feel low.
I woke up in the middle of the night and opened my laptop.
For the next two hours, I didn’t scroll endlessly-->I searched, I learned, I updated my LinkedIn profile, and many more...
After that, I slept… peacefully.
But here's the twist-
Even after doing all that, a voice inside me whispered: “You’ve still not done enough.”😑
Isn’t it strange????
Sometimes we work hard, we try our best, but still feel like we are not doing enough.🤷🏻♀️
This is normal. Many people feel this way. But we must not be too hard on ourselves.
And then I realized something important..
𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 is veryyy important.💯
If your mind tells you you're not doing enough, take it as a signal-not shame.
Use that as a push to grow.
But when negative thoughts pull you down, pause and remind yourself of:-
😌The small wins you’ve had.
😌The courage you showed.
😌The effort you made.
😌The person you’re becoming.
